How To Install Flappy Bird on Android

NOTE - This is the original version 1.3 apk of Flappy Bird, NOT a clone.

A good Flappy Bird clone is also available from the Google Play store here is you don't want to use this method.

-You will need to enable “unknown sources” on your phone.

-For android version 3 (older phones) go to Settings -> Applications -> Unknown sources.

-For newer android, go settings->security->unknown sources

-Download Flappy Bird by clicking here

-Click the download once finished, or navigate to it with a file explorer like "Astro"

NOTE: Version 4.3+ of Android may require an extra step. If it didn't let you install the file by clicking it, please do the following:

-Upload the file to google drive from your computer or phone.

-Open the google drive app on your phone.

-Click the file and install.

How To Play

You basically tap your finger on the screen to make the bird flap his wings, you get points by flying through the gaps in the pipes. Don't hit one though or you are finished..... That's it. One point for each pipe you make it through.

About the Author

Nguyen Ha Dong from .Gears Studio created the game. It made it to number 1 in Google Play and also iTunes, receiving around 50,000,000 downloads in a short time. Unfortunately the developer deleted it from the stores on the 9th of febuary. The reason he deleted is not so clear, but he commented that all the media attention and criticisms ruined his simple life.
